Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Not really! I'm still terrible at updating!!!!

Twitter has got me in it's evil little talons! If you're interested in my Vancouver weather complaints then I go by kittycoffee on there! I'm on google+ to, but how the hell do you link to that??

Lately, a bucket load of shojo comics has gotten me out of my creative hole. It's hard to explain how you can just lose the motivation to draw, but I get hit by these spells sometimes. Surely, I'm not alone in this! Seriously though, I don't know what it is about giant googly eyed Shojo girls confessing to their princes, but it gets me inspired to work. I think I just like the fact that there are volumes and volumes of titles that are directed at my inner romantic girly self.

RECENT BITCHING!!

Blizzard's decision to include a DRM in Diablo 3 is just WRONG!! I only play single player, so I'm not going to chance losing unique items due to an unstable internet connection. If that happened to me, there's a real possibility I would break the new future computer I was going to buy to play this game!!!!!!! Well, at least I know it's not going to ruin my future life because IM NOT GOING TO BUY IT NOW!! AUAUGHAIFAOIFDJAOI!!! I was ready to stand in line overnight for that stupid game too ;_________________;

I've always wanted to grab shojo comic's script and draw it myself. I think it would be fun, but I don't think it's legal to just snatch somebody's script hahah Even if it's just a fan comic.

What's funny is a thirty page shojo script would probably condense into about 12-15 pages if I did it.
